Programme Conference August 31, 2023
August 31, fellows and alumni will gather in Driebergen-Zeist for their annual conference, dedicated to Science and Happiness.
Alumnus Carlo Beenakker has kindly agreed to deliver the keynote address, entitled:
Why We Wonder: Reasons Why Humans Do Science.
We are pleased to announce that Evangelia Demerouti, member of the Niels Stensen Fellowship Committee, will deliver a second address:
Maintaining Well-being and the Work-life Balance.
During the afternoon, conference attendees will have the opportunity to engage,
up close and personal, with either prof. Demerouti or prof. Beenakker, during break-out sessions dedicated to the crafting of personal demands and resources and the joys of being a scientist, respectively.
