    The nomination deadline for a 2023-2024 Niels Stensen Fellowship has been extended

    Professors who would like to nominate a candidate are invited to send us a letter of recommendation before 20 May 2023. This nomination must be supported by at least one other professor connected to a Dutch university or research institute, as stated in our online application procedure.

    Candidates can be recommended if they have officially received their PhD from a Dutch university after 15 June 2022. Candidates who have not yet obtained their PhD can be recommended if they are scheduled to receive their PhD before 15 June 2024 (a statement that the thesis committee has approved the thesis should have been received by us no later than 31 December 2023).

    New NSF committee member: Evangelia Demerouti

    We are happy to announce that as of February 2023, prof. dr. Evangelia Demerouti, professor in Work and Organizational Psychology at the Eindhoven University of Technology, has joined the Niels Stensen Fellowship committee. Her research focuses on the processes enabling performance, including the effects of work characteristics, individual job strategies (including job crafting and decision-making), occupational well-being, and work-life balance. She will be focusing on applications from candidates in the field of behavioural, managerial, and social sciences.
